Jobs for Life™, in collaboration with Live Well Wake, Wake County Board of Commissioners, Wake County Cooperative Extension, and Wake County Social + Economic Vitality, brings you a virtual 3-session symposium addressing current economic and employment challenges.
Other partners include: Arc of the Triangle, Capital Area Food Network, Dorcas Ministries, Town of Knightdale, Western Wake Human Services Center, and Western Regional Community Advocacy Committee.
Economic and employment leaders and influencers are encouraged to attend this series of three sessions, led by subject-matter experts, focused on the jobseeker and the role the entire community plays in creating a healthy, symbiotic relationship and flourishing economy.
Session Three focuses on the Wages that Work, an employer-led conversation on living wage. This session is facilitated by Kristin Feierabend, Area Agent for Urban Programs, North Carolina Cooperative Extension, NC State University, College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.
This is an imperative opportunity to come together to discuss the current regional challenges, create employment solutions, and take the critical first steps toward healing our nation through work – one city, one community, and one job at a time.
